The Canon Powershot G11 is a really great camera. many claim this camera has professional results even with its much cheaper cost and compact design.
In fact this has one great feature that most professional cameras don’t. this feature is the very handy swivel display. It lets you spin the screen around and see what you are taping from many different angles.

The best part is the ability to carry it around with you wherever you want to go. No it will not fit in your back pocket but it sure is a heck of a lot more portable than professional cameras.
Also, the price is much lower. It is a little much for the average user but you also receive superior performance compared to the cheaper digital cameras for sale these days.
I had to search hard to find bad things about this camera but they do exist.
The first thing is the cost that I talked about earlier. It’s good for what you receive but the average picture taker may not want to spend the extra cash.
Also, you can not take pictures remotely from a computer. You may be thinking, “Why should I care?” but this is a feature that is found in other models of Canon cameras.
Overall I would say this digital camera is for:

You do not need to be a professional photographer to possess and operate this camera but if you happen to be a professional than go for it.
Those starting out in the career of professional photography may not have a couple grand to spend on their camera. if that’s you than I highly suggest looking at this camera.
The swivel feature should not be overlooked. this feature allows the taking of photos and videos from angles that you could never previously shoot from.
