Canon’s S Series is just one of many great lines from the company. Released in 2004 the Canon Power Shot S70 was certainly in the top of its game. The 7.1 megapixel power produces wonderful prints. The Canon UA lens that produces top notch images also allowed for an incredibly thin, compact body.
The macro function allows for shooting as close as 4cm from the subject. While with the 3.6x optical zoom allows for shooting much further distances. The focal length range is rather impressive as well ranging from 28mm wide-angle all the way up to 100mm telephoto. With the use of an optional tele-converter you can extend that distance even further, up to 200mm.
For ultimate control you can shoot in RAW format allowing your creativity to be your biggest obstacle. There are also 13 shooting modes such as VGA movie and other custom modes.
Printing has never been easier. On the model you will find a print/share button located on the back of the camera. All you have to do is connect the camera to a Canon Direct Photo Printer or any PictBridge supported printer then simply press the print/share button and viola your pictures print.
The Canon Power Shot S70 can please even the advanced photographer with its feature set and resolution. There are tools that make life easier while other tools ensure that you are getting outstanding quality photos. The auto focus is fast allowing you to capture up to 2 frames per second. This model should make it onto every consumers wish list.
